The Deer and the Hunter Story

You all know that deer is a cute and beautiful animal. It has beautiful skin and strong horns. Once upon a time there was a deer lived in a dense forest. One day a hunter was attracted with the deer. So he was tracking that deer last couple few days. He found that deer came exactly to the same tree each day for fruits. It was an apple tree. 

The hunter was so attracted by the beauty of the deer and wanted to catch the deer alive. He thought, If I set a trap here, I can catch the deer easily. He started his plan as soon as possible. He just set a trap and kept some beautiful fruits over it.

The deer came across the tree where the trap was set by the hunter. But the deer went to eat the fruits. He just saw more fruits are lying there. It just suspected something is not usual today. He started sniffing around the tree. Now the deer could smell someone hiding behind the tree. So, instead of eating the fruits, the deer ran aways from that place. It thought to itself, "I am so lucky to have been precautious" 

Moral: Think before you do something.

The Cracked Pot and The Water Bearer Story

Once there lived a poor man in a village. It was working as a water bearer. He had two large pots to carry to his master's house every day.  The water bearer hung on the ends of a pole these pots to carry it.

One of the two pots had a crack in it, which is why the bearer delivered only one and a half pot of water. The perfect pot was proud of himself and mocked the cracked pot.

One day, the cracked pot apologized to the bearer for being imperfect. But the master smiled and said that he had planted flowers on the cracked pot’s side of the way. Unknowingly, the cracked pot was watering them and because of this, the bearer was able to pick out beautiful flowers for his master’s home. Now, the cracked pot didn’t feel ashamed of his imperfection anymore.

Moral: Never be ashamed of your imperfections. Many times, these imperfections are a blessing in disguise.

Frog, Mouse and The Eagle Story

Once a frog lived in a marsh and nearby lived a mouse in a hole. They were good friends but both of them claimed to be the owner of the marsh.One day they entered a dispute in this connection.

The frog was stronger than the mouse but the mouse was very clever. He hid himself under the grass, attacked the frog and harmed him a lot. The frog decided to put an end to the dispute and challenged the mouse for a clash.The mouse accepted the challenge.

Both armed themselves with a point of reed to use it like a spear. When they were about to start fighting, an Eagle came there flying. The Eagle saw the animals ready for a fight.

So, the Eagle swooped down, caught them both in its claws and carried them away.

The Greedy Dog with Moral

Once upon a time, there lived a dog in a small village with his master. One day, his master was not in home and he was very hungry and went in search of food. To his delight, the dog found a juicy bone. The dog happily carried the bone back to the home. He held the bone tightly in his mouth and scowled at anyone who tried to take it away.

On his way to his home, he had to cross a bridge. While crossing the bridge, he saw his reflection in the water below. The foolish dog thought there was another dog in the water, holding another juicy bone. The dog wanted to have that bone too. He growled and barked as usual seeing another dog. Again he saw his own reflection in the water. “I’ll get that bone too,” thought the greedy dog, and he snapped his sharp teeth and barked at his reflection in the water.

But alas! The moment the foolish dog opened his mouth to snap his teeth; the piece of bone fell into the stream. The dog lost his bone and had to go home, hungry.

Dog and the Hare Morals: Motivational Short Story

Once there lived a hare in a dense forest. He had many friends. He believed that they would help him in his danger. He always make new friends.

One day, the hare was chased by a ferocious dog. He ran fast to save his life. On the way, he met his old friend, the bull, whom he asked to worry the dog and save his life. The bull said, "Friend, I'm very busy now.

I must meet my wife who is waiting for me on the bank of the river. You've many other friends in this forest. Any one of them will help you, I'm sure." Saying so the bull left the hare now met another old friend, the horse, whom he asked to drive away the dog.

The horse said, "Friend, I am very busy now. I'm looking for my lost child in the forest. So, I am going, but I am sure, any other friend of yours will definitely help you." The horse too galloped away.

The hare then requested to a few more friends, such as the buffalo, the zebra, and some other strong animals. But each one turned down his request on some plea or the other.

Now the dog was so near as to catch him. Finding no other way to save his life, the hare entered into a hole which he noticed nearby. As the dog did not see the hare, he went back.

Moral: One real friend is better than too many false friends.
